Hendrickson and AxleTech International Partner to Win Navistar’s International® MaxxPro® Suspension Award
WOODBRIDGE, IL & TROY, MI – Hendrickson, a Boler Company, and AxleTech
International, a General Dynamics company (NYSE: GD), announced today they have
received a production award from Navistar Defense, LLC for independent
suspension systems on 1,050 new International® MaxxPro® Dash vehicles.
Production will be based at the AxleTech flagship operation in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin. Work is expected to begin immediately.
As a result of the partnership, Hendrickson and AxleTech together provide an
unprecedented level of industry experience and proven technology across a wide
range of axle and suspension systems.
This Independent Suspension Axle System (ISAS®) enhances the MaxxPro vehicle's
mobility and maneuverability to enable improved performance in the rough terrain
of Afghanistan.
