SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – General Dynamics C4 Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), today announced that its Massachusetts-based operations have achieved the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Level 5 rating – the highest rating attainable. The Software Engineering Institute is a federally funded research and development center sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University. The CMMI provides a maturity framework for improving processes that organizations use to develop and deliver products for customers.
